Huzhou Central Hospital and ASIR Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics launch collaboration
France’s ASIR Institute and China’s Huzhou Municipal Central Hospital have announced that they are working on a joint project to conduct colorectal cancer research based on Chinese medicine and artificial intelligence technology. In the field of globalized healthcare, Chinese and French research institutions are working together to open a new chapter of cooperation.
This collaboration is an important attempt by China and France to cooperate in the field of medical science and technology, aiming to explore new methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer by combining the traditional wisdom of Chinese medicine with the highly efficient data processing capabilities of modern AI technology. France’s ASIR Institute has a deep research foundation in the field of artificial intelligence, while Huzhou Central Hospital has accumulated rich experience in TCM treatment and chronic disease management.
The research will focus on the application of TCM theories in the treatment of colorectal cancer and analyze a large amount of TCM treatment data through AI technology, with a view to discovering more effective treatment options. At the same time, the project will also use AI algorithms to personalize treatment planning for patients, improving the precision and effectiveness of treatment.
Huzhou City Central Hospital has been developing rapidly in the field of smart healthcare, and has already established a chronic disease big data center, which is committed to the digital transformation of chronic disease management. This cooperation with the French ASIR Institute will further promote the hospital’s scientific research and clinical application capabilities in the field of smart healthcare.
Experts from the French ASIR Institute said that Chinese medicine has been increasingly emphasized globally, and its unique treatment concepts and methods provide a valuable supplement to modern medicine. Through the cooperation with Huzhou Central Hospital, the institute hopes to combine the essence of TCM with AI technology to provide new perspectives and solutions for colorectal cancer treatment.
This Sino-French collaborative project has received strong support from the governments and research institutions of both countries, and is expected to achieve important research results in the coming years, contributing new strengths to the global treatment of colorectal cancer. With the depth of the project, the two sides will also explore more areas of cooperation, and jointly promote exchanges and cooperation between China and France in the field of healthcare.
In addition, Huzhou Central Hospital has also made remarkable achievements in scientific research. Recently, two projects have been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, which shows that the strength of the hospital in the field of scientific research has been recognized at the national level. These research results will provide more scientific basis and technical support for the treatment of colorectal cancer and other diseases.
This cooperation is not only a useful attempt by Chinese and French scientific research institutions, but also a model of global cooperation in the field of healthcare. Through such cooperation, we can accelerate the innovation and development of medical science and technology, provide patients with better medical services, and at the same time contribute to the development of global healthcare.
